Community Outreach Program
We’re coming to you!
Our new Community Outreach Program is all about making it easier for tenants to connect with Northern Rivers Housing closer to home.
Every few weeks, our team will visit different communities in the region to provide face-to-face support, answer questions and help with tenancy and maintenance matters in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Whether you need help filling out forms, want to report a repair, ask a question, or simply stop by for a chat and a cuppa – we’d love to see you there.
What to expect
At our Outreach Days, you can:
- Speak with tenancy and maintenance staff in person
- Get help with forms or general enquiries
- Learn about local support services
- Access helpful resources and information
- Enjoy free tea, coffee and light refreshments at selected events.
Where possible, we also aim to include local community organisations and services, such as Homes NSW, The Family Centre, financial counselling, legal aid, training and education providers, mental health support and more.
Some events may also include giveaways, food support services or tenant Care Packs.

We’ll continue adding new outreach dates throughout the year as we visit more communities across the Northern Rivers.
When we are planning a visit, we’ll send tenants updates via SMS/text message.
